POSITION OVERVIEW

Manage and drive point of sales growth across the entire Amphenol RF distribution channel.  Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for all core distributors identifying resources, process improvements and needs for success and work as part of cross functional team.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Distributor Engagement

  • Manage corporate distributor relationships at all levels including sales and asset management as well as senior level decision makers
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with core distributors and ensure follow through of action items
  • Manage distributor agreements
  • Track and analyze high runners and recommend stock packages
  • Drive Design Registration program at the corporate level and throughout the branches
  • Develop, manage and measure marketing and sales campaigns and special promotions with the channel partners

Reporting

  • Monthly point of sale and point of purchase report
  • Monthly order forecasting, annual budget and quarterly roadmap input
  • Quarterly DTAM report
  • Monthly status report by distributor detailing key initiatives and actions, changes in distributors
  • Run quarterly program business drop off report, communicate significant changes to DOS
  • EDS meeting leader and book responsibility

Tactical / Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Manage design registration program
  • Monitor meet-comp activity and escalate as needed
  • Recommend process improvements to improve customer (distributor) experience
  • Attend and facilitate participation in distributor training programs and other activities
  • Manage monthly marketing and sales calls with selected distributors: own action items from the calls
  • RDSM guidance and input based on market/distribution feedback and trends

Amphenol Corporate Engagement

  • Participate in quarterly corporate strategy meetings focused on distribution; discuss market health, distributor engagement levels, best practices, etc.
  • Ability to travel when necessary.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
  • Work as part of cross functional team, including members from customer service, sales, product marketing and program management departments, driving growth initiatives designed to leverage distributor strengths.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

Bachelor degree in a technical discipline preferred plus six (6) to eight (8) years industry experience preferred.  Excellent oral and written communication skills.  Other requirements as necessary.
