POSITION OVERVIEW
- Utilize 3D CAD (Pro-E/CREO) model and draft connector components and assemblies.
- Perform tolerance studies.
- Apply RF design concepts to design high performance transmission lines.
- Work with the RF Engineer to validate and optimize RF performance.
- Analyze or facilitate the analysis of mechanical requirements using FEA as required.
- Process Engineering Change Orders and New Product Releases.
- Perform and document electrical and mechanical testing of prototypes.
- Maintain organized project files.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal departments as part of a cross-functional team to move the product design through a phased development process
- Ability to travel when necessary
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with Three (3) to five (5) years related experience. Other requirements as necessary.
