We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to be responsible for the processing of payroll and related activities for multiple locations while maintaining confidentiality and keeping in compliance with payroll policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws.

We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to be responsible for the processing of payroll and related activities for multiple locations while maintaining confidentiality and keeping in compliance with payroll policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process timely and accurate Weekly and Semi-monthly Payroll for locations in USA
- Verify and process garnishments and tax levies as per applicable laws.
- Prepare reports from HRIS System and Timeclock software and create customized reports for other users.
- Process annual compliance reports for Corporate Human Resources and state and Federal agencies.
- Provide weekly/monthly payroll summary and census information to Finance department(s).
- Maintain the Integrity and confidentiality of the HRIS system.
- Maintain and update employee/payroll files.
- Maintain appropriate controls, including verifying HR changes to the payroll system & conducting periodic audits.
- Conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual tax audits and ensure accuracy of W-2’s
- Answer employee questions and research issues involving employee/employer wages and tax withholdings.
- Acts as a liaison to Amphenol Corporate in regards to 401(k) enrollment, loans, changes and audits.
- Monitors and maintains worker’s compensation claims, reports and annual audits.
- Maintain and track employee Time off Calendar & provide quarterly accrual balances to management for reconciliation.
- Participate in Safety Committee, coordinate quarterly meetings and assist EHS Manager with safety related issues as needed.
- Prepare and remain compliant with OSHA logs
- Track personal usage for Company leased vehicles for tax purposes
- Maintain monthly headcount and turnover reports
- Assist with requirements for Ex-pats as needed
- Provide support to the Human Resource Department as needed.
- Ability to travel when necessary.
- Any other duties as assigned
- High school or equivalent education required, Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum Payroll work experience of two (2) to four (4) years.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and payroll systems, preferably Ceridian Dayforce.
- Payroll certification a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Other requirements as necessary.
