We are currently seeking a Controller who will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting for the Business Unit. They are a strategic advisor and business partner to the General Manager and play a critical role in providing financial insights, supporting executive decision-making through high-quality financial analysis and reporting. This role leads budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning, while providing key insights to drive operational efficiency and cost optimization. The Controller partners closely with cross-functional teams to support business performance, manage risk, and ensure adherence to corporate and regulatory standards.


Additional Duties and Responsibilities 

Financial Reporting & Integrity

  • Review and ensure accuracy and integrity of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the business.
  • Report actuals and forecasts.
  • Oversee the compilation and distribution of financial reports to Amphenol Corporate, the group and the General Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), COSO controls, and corporate financial policies.
  • Monitor adherence to lease reporting standards and revenue recognition policies.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Strategic Planning

  • Coordinate and prepare annual budgets, standard costs, and the long-range strategic plan for the business unit.
  • Develop and present the monthly operations meeting package with insights and analysis.
  • Lead roadmap and market segment reporting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in capital planning and payback analysis in collaboration
  • Support forecast updates and sensitivity analysis for business planning cycles.

Cost Control and Inventory Management

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on inventory valuation, production costs, and manufacturing variances.
  • Conduct E&O (excess and obsolete) inventory analysis and recommend cost-saving actions or disposal strategies.
  • Review financial data across sites to identify cost reduction opportunities and track improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct audit calculations to support sustainability and cost-efficiency efforts.
  • Analyze and report financial implications of inventory movements, write-offs, and reserves.

Compliance & Tax Reporting

  • Ensure financial compliance with corporate accounting policies and external reporting requirements.
  • Prepare financial data and supporting documentation for tax department filings and audits.
  • Assist with audit preparations, including financial reconciliations, supporting schedules, and documentation.
  • Ensure financial documentation supports compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits related to leases, revenue recognition, and intercompany transactions.

Business Support & Special Projects

  • Support operational and strategic initiatives by providing financial insights and scenario modeling.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on cost improvement and automation projects.
  • Participate in business reviews, providing financial analysis to guide executive decision-making.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on account performance, demand planning, and revenue forecasts to leadership.
 

Education / Experience Requirement 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred
  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Business
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial management, leadership & partnership, controllership, in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams to meet organizational goals.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with a focus on results
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights.
  • Proficiency in ERP Systems and advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
