We are currently seeking a Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to design and develop RF coaxial connectors in tandem with the Design Engineering team in Danbury, Connecticut.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Project and Principal RF Engineers in the design and development of microwave components, including connectors, attenuators, terminations, and switches.
- Utilize HFSS FEA software to provide RF simulations of RF products.
- Use of state of the art test equipment, including network and spectrum analyzers.
- Apply RF design concepts to design high performance transmission lines.
- Support the Design Engineering team during the NPI process to validate and optimize RF performance.
- Facilitate and document electrical testing of prototypes in a lab environment.
- Interact with quality, engineering, and program management groups in executing and refining product development plans.
- Provide testing support for production when needed.
- Perform research in order to help develop new products.
- Ability to travel minimally when necessary.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Up to two (2) years of related experience. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply!
- Ability to use established procedures and work under close supervision.
- Familiarity with Ansys HFSS or CST. Interest or experience in RF products is highly desirable but not required.
