We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Lead to accelerate enterprise-wide business intelligence and process improvement through regular collaboration with multiple business departments as well as IT, establishing robust data sources and business analytics for ‘one source of truth’. Assists with data governance across systems and global sites. Produces low-maintenance, insightful dashboards while increasing Tableau user proficiency to accelerate Amphenol RF’s ability to quickly review and respond to business trends. Creates timely data analyses as requested to address urgent business needs. Additionally, this role is instrumental in advancing AI initiatives, technical policies, and processes that improve sustainability and support scalable business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Provide input and guidance on business intelligence-related architecture (logical and physical data models) to enable efficient enterprise reporting; collect, normalize, aggregate data
  • Work with IT and relevant business departments to identify, govern, validate & centralize master data
  • Enhance Tableau setup, development and usage standards; manage Tableau platform (access control, stale content, etc.)
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment of reporting needs to minimize duplication of effort and maximize sustainability, scalability
  • Optimize self-service reporting through the creation of re-usable interactive Tableau dashboards, balancing performance and function
  • Generate and maintain Tableau user documentation including standard metrics definitions; conduct regular training
  • Document business requirements and related data design, develop solutions and manage change (pre- and post-implementation)
  • Facilitate Tableau issue resolution
  • Provide ongoing clear communication to management, key stakeholders, and IT
  • Contribute to the advancement of standards and processes for data governance across the organization
  • Work cross-functionally to identify and execute AI-driven initiatives that optimize business processes.

Education/Experience Requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Computer Science or related discipline with 3+ years’ experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Tableau architecture and permissions, including Tableau Server
  • Tableau Certification preferred
  • Experience working with ERP data & associated business reporting (sales, supply chain, mfg, etc.)
  • Experience with Python, ETL, SQL queries, code integration, MS SQL DB, data warehousing
  • Data architecture, data modeling, data mapping, data analysis, data visualization, BI best practices
  • Passionate about data integrity and impactful analytics
  • Demonstrated success translating business requirements into streamlined data solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new programs and approach new problems in an efficient methodical manner
  • Strong Excel skills (esp. Power Query, Power Pivot, macros)
  • Strong collaborator who facilitates teamwork and is a highly motivated self-starter
  • Process-oriented with strong analytical/problem-solving and attention to detail; methodical and structured, but flexible
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks is highly desirable
